Yandex Maps parser

Yandex Maps holds what no other directory releases: a rating, opening hours and review texts. There are two tools. The first collects businesses by niche and city — with phone, website, address and rating. The second pulls the review texts about them: what customers praise, what they complain about, and whether the company replies. The rating tells you not just that a business exists but whether it is alive: a place with 400 reviews and an empty card are two different sales conversations.

FAQ

How is this better than 2GIS?
Coverage and speed. In our measurement Yandex returns about eight businesses per second versus one for 2GIS, and 96% carry a phone — plus ratings and reviews we do not get from 2GIS. Here there is a single directory — Yandex: you chose it deliberately, so we will not blend in anyone else's data. If you want maximum contact coverage, use the Organizations source instead, where three directories merge into one list with duplicates removed automatically.
How many businesses can one query return?
It depends on the niche and the city. Measured for "coffee shop" in Kazan: 466 unique businesses in 56 seconds, after which the listing ends. Narrow niches yield dozens, broad ones hundreds.
Why do some companies have no website or email?
Yandex does not publish email at all, and a website is listed for about 71% of businesses. Email is filled in by the separate website-enrichment option, which visits the company site and collects work addresses such as info@ and sales@.
Is this legal?
We collect business contacts only — published by the companies themselves as a way for customers to reach them, and not personal data. The service does not collect private individuals' phones or emails from any source.
Is the data kept up to date?
Every run queries the directory again, so you get its current state. To track changes, put the task under Monitoring and new businesses in the niche will arrive as alerts.
