Competitor reviews from Yandex Maps — export to Excel
Reviews are what customers tell you about your market for free and without a survey: what they will pay for, what infuriates them, why they leave. This tool collects review texts about businesses on Yandex Maps by niche and city — together with the replies those companies wrote.
What you get in the file
columns from the tool “Competitor reviews”| Title | Address | Phone | Rubric | Source | Оценка на Яндекс.Картах | Отзывов на Яндекс.Картах |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
An Excel file with links in a separate column and a KPI sheet. The rows will be yours — only the headers are shown here.
Features
- Review text, rating, date and author, including the “City Expert” badge
- The company's reply — you see at once who works on reputation and who stays silent
- A separate sheet counting praise and criticism: “Food — 851 mentions, 766 positive, 64 negative”
- 1,450 reviews across 30 businesses in 8.8 seconds — measured in production
- Nothing to scroll by hand: the task runs in the background
- Alongside the reviews — the phone, website and address of the business, from the same run
- The source's second tool collects Yandex Maps businesses themselves, with rating, review count and opening hours — no texts, but whole lists at a time

FAQ
How many reviews come from one business?
Up to the 50 most recent. That is a limit of Yandex Maps itself: older reviews are available to no one — not to us and not to browser extensions. So the size of an export is set by the number of businesses: 30 businesses yield about 1,500 reviews.
Why is this better than a browser extension?
Scale, and not having to sit at the screen. An extension works with the card you opened and scrolled yourself: thirty competitors means thirty tabs and half an hour of scrolling. Here you set a niche and a city, the task runs in the background and returns a finished file covering every business at once, with the praise-and-criticism summary and the companies' contacts in the same rows.
Why would I want competitors' reviews?
Three uses. Understand what your market praises and criticises before you spend on advertising. Find a competitor's unhappy customers and offer them yourself. Check whether the competitor answers complaints — if not, that is your advantage in conversations with their customers.
Are 2GIS reviews collected?
No, Yandex Maps only: 2GIS and OpenStreetMap do not release review texts — to us or to anyone else. That is why Yandex Maps is a source of its own with its own tools, rather than a setting hidden inside Organizations.
Does this cost extra?
No. The tool is included in the subscription along with every other source — we do not charge separately for individual tools.
