Registry of construction companies — SRO members

A construction company cannot start on site without SRO membership — the law requires it for contract work. So this registry lists those who actually build, not everyone who ticked a matching activity code at registration.

FAQ

Why is this better than filtering by activity code?
A company assigns its own activity codes and may not do that work at all. SRO membership costs compensation-fund contributions and is checked by clients.
Are these really only active members?
Yes. The source registry holds 419,052 records, but more than half are expelled companies with no right to perform contract work.
Are phone numbers included?
No, SRO registries carry no contacts. You get legal details, region and the director; phones are collected separately with the Companies tool.
What about design firms?
They sit in a separate registry with its own page: 103,607 active design and survey organisations.
Who needs this list?
Suppliers of materials, machinery and tools, leasing and insurance companies, and clients seeking a contractor with confirmed clearance.
