Alcohol licence registry

Only a limited set of companies may sell alcohol, and all of them are listed in the state registry: shops, bars, restaurants. For a drinks supplier, a till vendor or a delivery service this is a map of offline outlets with a legal entity and a working email.

FAQ

Why filter by expiring licences?
Because it is an event, not just a row. A company must renew ahead of time, and that is when it needs lawyers and paperwork. Such a list cannot be bought as a file — it can only be computed from a fresh registry.
Are phone numbers included?
No. The registry holds no phone numbers at all — the only contact is email, present for 96% of licence holders. We say this before purchase, not after.
Why 251,960 licences but only 43,996 companies?
A licence is issued per outlet, so a chain holds dozens. The tool returns either outlets or a collapsed list of companies.
How fresh is the data?
The registry is refreshed roughly quarterly — that is the regulator's cadence, and we show the export date in the task status.
What about expired licences?
17,904 records are marked active while their end date has already passed, sometimes back in the 2000s. By default we hide them and state how many were filtered out.
