How do design firms differ from builders?
Different registries and different clearances. Construction companies belong to builders' SROs, while design and survey firms belong to specialised ones. A company that builds does not necessarily design, and vice versa.
Who needs a list of design firms?
Vendors of design software, manufacturers of equipment specified in projects, survey laboratories, and clients seeking a documentation contractor with valid clearance.
Are phone numbers included?
No, the registry carries no contacts. You get legal details and the director; phones are collected separately with the Companies tool.
