How much smaller will the base be?
Usually several times: active people are always a minority. That is the point — you pay for reachable people rather than dead weight.
How is depth set?
By the number of recent community posts the service parses. There is no period in days here: posts are what gets counted.
Can I raise the activity threshold?
Yes. One like is a weak signal; three or more actions already show steady interest.
