How to collect a company and contact base from 2GIS
B2B lead generation needs a base of organizations by niche and city with contacts. Here's how to collect it from 2GIS and OpenStreetMap and export it to Excel for cold calling.
What data you can collect
By query and city you get: name, category, address, coordinates and phones where published. In OpenStreetMap about half of organizations have phones; in 2GIS contacts depend on the access tier — the service honestly shows what's available.
Step 1. Set the niche and geo
Enter a category and city as 'coffee shops, Moscow'. You can list several cities — results merge and deduplicate by coordinates so there are no repeats.
Step 2. Filter by contacts
Drop organizations without a phone or website so the base keeps only records worth calling.
Step 3. Export and keep it fresh
Export the base to Excel. With Monitoring you can repeat the collection on a schedule and get only new organizations — the base stays fresh with no manual work.
